Smoke from the Canadian wildfires have taken its toll on many things in the Northeast.

Add the Long Island Rough Riders to the list.

The Rough Riders said were forced to postpone Wednesday’s doubleheader at Mitchel Athletic Complex due to “poor air quality.”

“As we value the safety and well-being of our players, fans, and staff, tonight’s match has been postponed due to the dangerous air quality,” the club said on Twitter.

Both teams have forged 5-0-0 marks in their respective leagues this season.

The men’s team was supposed to play Cedar Stars in a 6 p.m. USL League Two match, while the women’s side was to host Cedar Stars in a USL game at 8 p.m.

The team said those contests will be rescheduled.

The Rough Riders will host another doubleheader at Mitchel on Sunday, June 11.

The women welcome FA Euro at 4:30 p.m, followed by the men meeting the same club at 7 p.m.
