You can just about make a Starting XI from the list of Red Bulls’ players who will miss Wednesday night’s game at Toronto FC.

The team has a dozen out due to injuries, long-range suspensions, yellow-card accumulation and international duty.

We don’t know if that is a record, but it certainly is a rarity in MLS.

So, don’t be surprised if there are several few faces in the Red Bulls’ lineup.

“Just everybody needs to be ready, new faces in the squad as well,” midfielder Dru Yearwood said. “These are opportunities for people to take. These are the opportunities I wanted weeks ago and now I’ve got it, so now is my time to take it.”

The missing include:

* Serge Ngoma (hamstring)

* Luquinhas (adductor)

* Lewis Morgan (hip)

* Matt Nocita (hamstring)

* Steven Sserwadda (knee)

* Frankie Amaya (ankle)

* Kyle Duncan (knee)

* Dante Vanzeir (suspension)

* Sean Nealis (yellow card accumulation)

* Andres Reyes (yellow card accumulation)

* Cristian Casseres Jr. (yellow card accumulation)

* Daniel Edelman (international duty with USA squad at Under-20 World Cup)

The game is a battle to avoid last place in the Eastern Conference. The Red Bulls (2-4-6, 12 points) are in 14th place, one berth ahead of Toronto FC (2-4-6, 12). The Red Bulls have better goal differential (minus three to minus four).
