The U.S. men’s national team on Wednesday called in a North America-dominated 23-man roster for its Continental Clasico against Mexico in Glendale, Ariz. on April 19.

All but one player competes in MLS or LIGA MX.

With the match falling outside of the designated international calendar, clubs are not required to release players for national team duty. The USA’s roster for the Allstate Continental Clásico features 21 players based in domestic competition and two plying their trade abroad: AC Milan defender Sergiño Dest and FC Juárez midfielder Alan Soñora.

The roster features 10 players from the USMNT’s run at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, while nine players come into camp with less than five USMNT appearances, including four age-eligible playes for next summer’s Olympic Games.

The match will be broadcast live on TBS, Telemundo and Universo and streamed on HBO Max and Peacock. Coverage begins at 10 p.m. ET, with kickoff set for 10:22 p.m.

“We are delighted with the group we have put together. Anytime you get to play against your closest rivals it’s a special opportunity, and we have players who understand what this rivalry is all about and are ready to compete in the Allstate Continental Clasico,” USMNT head coach Anthony Hudson said in a statement. “It’s another chance to build on the progress we have made in the last four years and prepare for the defense of our two Concacaf titles this summer.”
