NJ/NY Gotham FC announced Saturday that MSG Networks will serve as the local broadcast home for eight Gotham FC home matches during the National Women’s Soccer League season.

Gotham FC’s first home broadcast of the year – against the OL Reign at Red Bull Arena on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET – will feature host and sideline reporter Eduarda “Duda” Pavão, color analyst Renee Washington, and play-by-play announcer Evan Weston. More announcers to be revealed in the near future.

“Gotham FC is proud to announce MSG Networks as our local broadcast partner to deliver the energy and excitement of our games to current fans and new audiences during the 2023 NWSL season,” said Christa Mann, Gotham FC senior vice president of communications. “In collaboration with MSG Networks production and executive teams, we are thrilled to kick off the season with a talented, diverse, and experienced group of announcers to tell the stories of the club and Gotham FC players in an environment that attracts avid supporters, soccer fans, and those watching a game for the very first time.”

Host/sideline reporter – Eduarda “Duda” Pavão

Pavão has hosted numerous FIFA events, including the men’s World Cup and Club World Cup, and has created content for the NWSL at tentpole events. Multi-lingual, including English, Spanish and Portuguese, Pavão is also host for the Orlando Pride.

Color analyst – Renee Washington

A New Jersey native and former NWSL player with Sky Blue FC (now Gotham FC), Washington was a three-time Division I All-American at La Salle University. She helped lead La Salle to its first conference championship and an NCAA tournament appearance. She also was inducted into the La Salle Hall of Fame. In her media and broadcasting career, Washington has covered almost every major league and sport, and currently works as a sideline reporter and analyst for ESPN, as well as a sports reporter for the ABC affiliate in Philadelphia.

Play-by-play – Evan Weston

An on-air talent from New Jersey with extensive experience in play-by-play, studio hosting, writing, and reporting, Weston has been a play-by-play announcer for Orlando City SC for the last six years. He also has been the voice of Stetson University since 2015, calling football, women’s and men’s basketball, volleyball, baseball, softball, and women’s lacrosse on ESPN+. Weston has been the voice of the University of Central Florida’s women’s soccer team since 2021.

“MSG Networks is proud to partner with Gotham FC, and we look forward to producing dynamic home broadcasts on our networks this season,” said Kevin Marotta, senior vice President, marketing and content, MSG Networks.

The eight-match schedule for Gotham FC on MSG Networks complements the club’s national coverage from NWSL partner CBS Sports’ multiplatform coverage, presented by CarMax, which includes one match on the CBS Television Network (July 18 at Racing Louisville), two matches on CBS Sports Network, and eight on Paramount Plus. In addition, all 2023 regular season and Challenge Cup matches will be streamed live internationally for free on NWSLSoccer.com.
