NJ/NY Gotham FC Monday announced the club’s roster for its National Women’s Soccer League season opener on Sunday in Los Angeles against Angel City FC.

The roster has 25 players.

Goalkeepers (3): Michelle Betos, Abby Smith, Mandy Haught

Defenders (10): Bruninha (INTL), Imani Dorsey, Kristen Edmonds, Sabrina Flores, Mandy Freeman, Ellie Jean, Ali Krieger, Nealy Martin, Kelley O’Hara, Taylor Smith

Midfielders (7): Nahomi Kawasumi (INTL), Allie Long, Kristie Mewis, Victoria Pickett, Yazmeen Ryan, Delanie Sheehan, McCall Zerboni

Forwards (5): Svava Rós Guðmundsdóttir (INTL), Jenna Nighswonger, Ifeoma Onumonu, Midge Purce, Lynn Williams

INTL: Denotes international player

Goalkeeper Hensley Hancuff remained on loan with Brisbane Roar FC in Australia. Midfielder Taryn Torres is sidelined for the season with a knee injury.

Gotham FC is finalizing a contract with Sinead Farrelly, who participated in camp as a non-roster invitee. An official announcement is expected soon.

After the season opener, Gotham FC will host OL Reign in its home opener at Red Bull Arena on Saturday, April 1 at 7:30 p.m.
