New York City FC announced on Friday its list of player numbers prior to Saturday afternoon’s MLS season opener against Nashville SC.

Here are some updates on new arrivals on the squad:

New international arrival Mitja Ilenič arrived in New York from the Slovakian side NK Domžale at the start of the year. The right back will wear the No. 35 shirt ahead of his debut MLS campaign.

Earlier this month left back Braian Cufré joined the team on loan from RCD Mallorca. The former Vélez Sarsfield defender has assumed the No. 3 jersey.

Another new face, goalkeeper Matt Freese, has chosen the 49 after he was acquired in a trade with the Philadelphia Union in the offseason.

The highest number on the roster belongs to another new arrival – defender Tony Alfaro, a former member of the Seattle Sounders and D.C. United, at 93.

There also has been several changes for some familiar faces.

Goalkeeper Luis Barraza has taken the vacant No. 1 jersey, that was worn by former NYCFC captain and goalkeeper Sean Johnson, while forward Gabriel Pereira has traded the 38 shirt for the 11 jersey.

He was joined in the new number club by defender Thiago Martins, who decided to replace his No. 5 jersey to 13.
