The Red Bulls open up their 28th MLS season at Orlando City SC at Exploria Stadium on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET.

This will be the 18th regular season meeting between New York and Orlando, with the Red Bulls holding the advantage in the series with a 9-6-2 mark. The visitors have posted a 3-1-0 regular season record at Exploria Stadium, including winning the last two meetings in Orlando. Orlando open iits ninth season in franchise history after finishing in sixth place in the Eastern Conference in 2022.
The Red Bulls have fared well in season openers, posting a 13-9-5 record in their opening matches of the season. They have registered a 5-1-0 mark in their last six openers, including being unbeaten in their last three road season openers (2-0-1). Last season, New York recorded their best road record in franchise history with a 9-5-3 mark. The Red Bulls recorded franchise highs in road wins (nine) and away points (30).
Midfielder Lewis Morgan signed a new three-year contract through 2025. Morgan led the club in goals scored last season with 14 in the regular season and 18 across all competitions. The 14 MLS regular season goals ranked third amongst active MLS midfielders last season. The Paisley, Scotland native recorded the most goals by a midfielder in a season in franchise history. Morgan has scored in two-straight games across all competitions at Exploria Stadium.
