The Rochester Lancers find themselves only two goals away from their 750th indoor goal since 2011.

They are at 748 and counting since returning to indoor soccer in 2011. They have played in three leagues since then – the Major Indoor Soccer League< Major Arena Soccer League and Major Arena Soccer League 2.

Taner Bay recorded the Lancers’ 800th indoor goal in their history in their 7-6 overtime victory over the Iowa Raptors on Feb 4. The goal totals includes scores from the original Lancers (1971, 1975 and 1976), the M1 Lancers and the M2 Lancers this century.

The Lancers have scored 808 indoor goals over the years.

Rochester (3-1) will host the Iowa Demon Hawks in their M2 home opener at Total Sports Experience in East Rochester, N.Y. at 7:45 p.m. on Friday and at the same place and same time on Saturday.
