It’s time for the annual Camp Good Days Radio Special! on Saturday, Dec. 17 from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Fox Sports 1280 WHTK and worldwide on iHeartRadio.

This will be Salvatore.com’s 18th year partnering with Camp Good Days to air a holiday special to raise money for the camp, as well as spreading the word about the Camp’s initiatives, goals & upcoming events.
“It’s an honor to help raise money & awareness for Camp Good Days,” said Fantauzzo, who is the Rochester Lancers owner. “I have visited the camp many times and The Mervis’ Family, CGD staff, and all their volunteers work so hard to allow children to come together in a fun & safe environment and give them a place to just be a kid – surrounded by other children who may have similar stories or experiences as them. It is truly unique and incredible, and it is my wish that everyone donates either monetarily or with volunteer time to help keep this Camp thriving.”
Camp Good Days and Special Times is a year-round camp that includes recreational and support activities in Rochester and the surrounding areas in efforts to improve the quality of life for families affected by cancer or sickle cell anemia. All programs and services are offered free of charge for all participants, which relies heavily on donations and support. Every donation made to the camp helps keep their residential camping and programs free, allowing for the creation of “good days & special times” for the children and families.
The radio special will explain what makes Camp Good Days so unique and heartfelt, and allows for a first-hand recollection from Gary Mervis of the beginning days of the Camp, the origin of their mission statement, and a remembrance of Elizabeth “Teddi” Mervis.
