Red Bulls midfielder Cristian Casseres, Jr. has been selected to the Venezuelan men’s national team roster for its upcoming friendlies.

Casseres, Jr. and Venezuela will face off against Panama on Tuesday, Nov. 15 and then Syria on Sunday, Nov. 20.

Casseres, Jr. will be a part of his fourth Venezuelan roster this calendar year. The midfielder made his most recent appearance for Venezuela coming on as a second-half substitute in a 1-0 victory over Saudi Arabia. Cásseres, Jr. has earned 17 caps for the Venezuela and has logged 818 minutes.

The Caracas, Venezuela native made 27 MLS appearances for the Red Bulls last season, recording two goals and six assists, a career high. Casseres, Jr. recorded his first two career multi-assist matches this season and had a team-high three game-winning assists.
