The Hofstra University men will look to capture their second consecutive Colonial Athletic Association championship Saturday when the third-seeded Pride take on top-seeded Elon University at Rudd Field in Elon, N.C.

The noon game is a rematch of the 2021 CAA title game, won by Hofstra.

The game will be live streamed on FloFC with live statistics and an audio-only broadcast from WRHU-FM also available. Links can be found above or on the men’s soccer schedule page of GoHofstra.com.

Hofstra enters the championship game with a 13-3-3 a record and is unbeaten in six games (4-0-2). The Pride is making its 10th CAA Championship appearance and will be looking for their fifth title. Hofstra advanced to the finals with a 1-0 extratime win over William & Mary in the quarterfinals on Ryan Carmichael’s game-winning goal and then posted a 2-1 victory in the semifinals over No. 2 UNCW with Marcelo Lage and Eliot Goldthorp netting goals.

Elon (11-3-3) earned the CAA regular season title and advanced to the finals with a semifinals win over Drexel, 1-0, on a first-half goal by Ben Rosenblatt. The Phoenix, who are receiving votes in the United Soccer Coaches poll, defeated Hofstra during the regular season, 3-1, in Hempstead on October 15.

The Pride is 7-1-1 all-time against Elon. The winner of the CAA Championship will receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Championship. Selections will be announced Monday at 1 p.m.
