Wrexham has advanced to the FA Cup proper.

The National League side grabbed a three-goal advantage late in the first half and held on for a 3-2 victory over Blyth Spartans in replay of a fourth-round qualifying match at the Racecourse in Wrexham, Wales on Tuesday.

The Dragons will meet Oldham Athletic in in the FA Cup first round after that team defeated Chester on penalty kicks.

Ollie Palmer, Paul Mullin and Jordan Davies scored to give the hosts a 3-0 lead by the 37th minute before Blyth rallied behind JJ O’Donnell and Michael Richardson.

The visitors, however, could not find the equalizer as they did in the first qualifier on Saturday, which ended in a 1-1 draw.
