New York City Football Club will host Inter Miami CF in the first round of the MLS Cup Playoffs at Red Bull Arena on Monday, Oct. 17 at 7 p.m.

City’s traditional home venue, Yankee Stadium, will be available because the Yankees are in the MLB playoffs and they take precedent over any other sport for obvious reasons.

The Cityzens closed out the regular season with a 2-1 victory against Atlanta United at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Sunday, which secured third place in the Eastern Conference.

The two playoff sides have met twice this season, with NYCFC winning the first encounter, 2-0, on July 23, before Inter Miami recorded a 3-2 triumph at DRV PNK Stadium on Aug. 13.
