In the St. John’s University women’s final non-conference match of the season, the Red Storm played Cornell University to a scoreless draw at Berman Field in Ithaca, N.Y. on Saturday afternoon.

The draw was the Johnnies’ (3-2-3) first scoreless 0-0 tie since 2018.

Goalkeeper Gina Muzi posted a clean sheet, her third this campaign, as the senior logged three saves. Cornell (1-4-3) used keeper Nicole Shulman in the first half with Erica Fox coming in for the second half. Both keepers made a save.

St. John’s begins conference play on Thursday, when it takes on reigning Big East championship Georgetown University at 7 p.m. on FS1.
