Without playing a game, the Red Bulls clinched a spot in the MLS Cup Playoffs on Wednesday night.

They booked a spot after Orlando City SC dropped a 1-0 decision to Atlanta United, which ensured the team will be among the top seven team in the Eastern Conference.

The Red Bulls are in third place.

They have reached the postseason every year since they moved to Red Bull Arena for the 2010 season, 13 years in a row.

That tied a league record of 13 consecutive times, also held by the Seattle Sounders.

The Red Bulls visit New York City FC in the Hudson River Derby at Yankee Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
