Another game and another loss for Red Bulls II on Friday.

But this result was a doozy.

After the hosts scored the first in the 10th minute, Miami FC struck for an avalanche of goals en route to a 7-1 slaughter in a USL Championship game at MSU Soccer Park in Montclair, N.J. on Friday night.

Joaquin Rivas and Kyle Murphy each bagged a brace for Miami (13-8-8, 47 points) while NYRBII (14 points) continued its descent into soccer hell, dropping to 3-21-5.

How bad has the Red Bulls II been this season? Miami has almost as many wins as the New Jersey-based side has points.

Jordan Adebayo-Smith gave the hosts a 10th-minute lead, scoring off a takeaway right outside the Miami box for his team-best sixth of the season.

After that, it was all Miami.

The visitors leveled the game in the 19th minute as Rivas scored his first goal, converting a feed from Lamar Walker.

Rivas gave Miami the lead in the 26th minute following a scramble in the box after a free kick.

Murphy connected in the 31st minute following a corner kick and a loose ball in the box.

He converted a penalty kick in the 45th minute to increase the margin to 4-1.

An own goal by Matt Nocita in first-half stoppage time gave Miami an incredible 5-1 halftime advantage.

In the 72nd minute, Miami added another, as Joshua Perez played a ball across the box to Christin Sorto, who scored.

Sorto returned the favor, finding Perez in the 84th minute to add the final goal of the match.

Yostin Salinas made his Red Bulls II debut, logging the full 90 minutes. Stiven Plaza made his first start of the season, playing 73 minutes.

Red Bulls II will travel to face Oakland Roots SC on Saturday, Sept. 17 at 10 p.m. ET.
