Red Bulls II reached a milestone it would rather forget on Saturday night.

The team dropped its 20th loss of the USL Championship season, falling to tthe Charleston Battery, 3-0, at Patriots Point in Charleston, S.C.

NYRBII is now 3-20-5 with 14 points, while Charleston improved to 5-17-6 and 21 points.

The hosts opened the scoring in the 17th minute, as Romario Piggott played a pass to the near side of the field, where Aidan Apodaca slotted home a shot to the near post.

Charleston doubled its advantage in the 27th minute, as Piggott converted a penalty kick.

The Battery added one more goal in second half stoppage time, as Andrew Booth sent a ball across midfield to Augustine Williams, who scored off a breakaway.

Goalkeeper AJ Marcucci made his return from injury, playing in his first match since July 1 and making five saves.

Bento Estrela made his first professional start, logging the full 90 minutes.

Red Bulls II hosts Miami FC at MSU Soccer Park in Montclair, N.J. at 7 p.m. Friday.
