It looks like John Brooks has finally found a team.

The U.S. international center back reportedly will join Mallorca in Spain’s La Liga.

The 29-year-old Brooks, who has fallen out of favor with U.S. men’s national team head coach Gregg Berhalter, most recently competed for Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga. He played 146 matches for Wolfsburg after playing for Hertha Berlin.

He left Wolfsburg when his contract ran out last June.

Brooks has made 45 appearances for the national team, but hasn’t put on a USA since the September 2021 World Cup Qualifiers.

Mallorca has started the La Liga season with a 1-1-1 record, accruing three points for a ninth-place standing.

Brooks is considered to be a longshot to make the USMNT for the World Cup in Qatar this November and December.

Spanish journalist Juan Carlos Taura was first to report Brooks’ signing.
