FOX Sports announced Thursday that international friendly between the U.S. women’s national team and England at Wembley Stadium on Friday, Oct. 7 will air on FOX.

The game will come nearly two weeks prior to the final draw for the 2023 Women’s World Cup, on Saturday, Oct. 22, and 49 days before Friday, Nov. 25, when the U.S. men’s national team meeting with England in the group stage of the World Cup.

October’s match will feature FIFA’s top-ranked women’s team and the reigning back-to-back Women’s World Cup champions in the USWNT, and the newly crowned European champions in England. The English squad rose to fourth in the latest FIFA rankings.

The match sold out of tickets faster than any women’s soccer match in history outside of a major international tournament.

Broadcasters and coverage plans surrounding the match will be announced at a later date.
