The St. John’s University men recorded their second consecutive exhibition win at Belson Stadium in Queens on Monday afternoon, topping Colgate University, 4-0.

All goals came in the final 32 minutes as Brandon Knapp, Wesley Leggett, Liam Tori and Colin Veltri etched their names on the score sheet.

Four goalkeepers- Emmanuel Smalios, Ryan Foley, Andrew Hammersley and Zenden Hart combined for the clean sheet.

The Red Storm opened the scoring in the 58th minute, as Miguel Diaz drew a foul inside the 18-yard box to set up a penalty kick opportunity for Knapp, who buried the chance.

Just over 10 minutes later, the Red Storm added another tally, from Leggett in front off a feed from Tori. The goal marked Leggett’s second in as many preseason games.

The Johnnies did not waste time adding to their lead, as Tori headed home an Adrian Roseth corner kick in the 72nd minute.

The Red Storm tacked on one more goal in the closing minutes, as Veltri found the back of the net off a Johnnie off a pass from Tommy Scalici.

After 90 minutes, the teams played an additional 20-minute period in which Ank Nibogora added a penalty kick, although that wasn’t counted toward the final score.

The Red Storm will close out its exhibition season at UAlbany on Friday at 7 p.m.
