The St. John’s University women completed their preseason with a 2-1 victory over the University of Massachusetts at Rudd Field in Amherst, Mass. on Saturday.

The Johnnies finished 1-0-1.

Isabelle Aviza scored one goal and set up another.

She assisted on Jessica Garziano’s tally and scored the game-winner. Nicole Gordon got the assist.

The Red Storm will open the fall season against Saint Joseph’s to Belson Stadium on Aug. 18 at 7 p.m.
