Attention indoor soccer fans:

Some good news for you.

The Major Arena Soccer League Friday announced its plans for the 2022-23 season.

The league’s ninth season will begin on Friday, Dec. 2, and run through April 9, 2023.

Preseason will begin on Nov. 14.

As in 2021-22, teams will play 24 regular season games, 12 home and 12 away, ending on or before Sunday, April 9, 2023.

The season will span a 19 weeks and a complete schedule will be released this fall.

The league said that some teams may agree to begin their regular season play the weekend of Nov. 25-27.

“Last year was a season of incredible growth for the MASL,” MASL commissioner Keith Tozer said. “This upcoming season will build on that success for our players, coaches, member organizations and league. I’m looking forward to watching the competition unfold and welcoming new fans from across the United States, Mexico and beyond.”

The 2022-23 Ron Newman Cup playoffs can start as early as April 12.
