The Red Bulls have signed Red Bulls II midfielder Steven Sserwadda to short-term loan ahead of Saturday’s match against Toronto FC, the club announced.

The Ugandan international will be available to play against Toronto FC on Saturday at 7 p.m. ET.

Sserwadda, 19, is in his second year with NYRB II and has made 14 USL Championship appearances. He has made 10 appearances this season and has totaled 862 minutes.

The Kampala, Uganda native has featured for all levels of Uganda national teams, where he has made three appearances and totaled 120 minutes for the Uganda senior squad. He made his senior national team debut on on March 25 against Tajikistan.

Following Saturday’s match, the Red Bulls will face off against New York City FC in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup quarterfinals at Red Bull Arena on Wednesday, June 22 at 8 p.m. ET.
