How bad is Red Bulls II?

The USL Championship team can’t beat a team that has only a handful of wins.

Red Bulls II suffered its 11th loss this season on Wednesday night in a 1-0 defeat at Loudoun United at Segra Field in Leesburg, Va.

The team, which has accrued only five points, dropped to 1-11-2 while Loudoun (11) improved to 3-8-2.

Loudoun scored the lone goal in the 38th minute as Grant Lillard played a ball forward to Abdellatif Aboukoura, who chipped a shot from distance past goalkeeper Giannis Nikopolidis.

Nikopolidis made four saves, tying his career-high (May 8 vs. Sacramento Republic FC).

Wiki Carmona made his first start of the season for Red Bulls II, playing the first half.

Red Bulls II will return home to host FC Tulsa on Wednesday, June 15 at 7 p.m.
