The Rochester Lady Lancers will open their United Women’s Soccer season against FC Buffalo at Aquinas Institute in Rochester, N.Y. on Sunday at 2 p.m.

In their season opener, the Lady Lancers dropped a 4-0 decision at FC Buffalo on Saturday.

Adam Schwartz is the Lady Lancers head coach. He will be aided by assistant coaches Michelle Urbanski, Tad Urbanski and John Berardicurti.

Midfielder Brooke Barbuto, the UWS MVP in 2018, has rejoined the team for the 2022 season. She played with the Syracuse DA in the UWS last season. For complete Lady Lancers roster please visit RLancers.com.

Kayla Kent-Moreira is the team’s new Lancers’ operating partner as president, CEO and COO. Kent-Moreira has been a fixture in the Rochester pro soccer scene since 2010. She began her soccer career as an intern with the Rochester Rhinos. She joined the indoor Lancers in 2012 and helped the team become successful in the indoor season.

Admission is free for the 2022 season.

The first 500 fans will receive a free t-shirt, courtesy of the IDE Family of Dealerships

There will be bounce house and in-game promotions for the family to enjoy.
