FrontRowSoccer.com has been named a finalist in the 2022 Press Club of Long Island media awards.
Website editor Michael Lewis wrote stories about former U.S. Soccer secretary general Hank Steinbrecher discussing his battle with Fabry disease at the United Soccer Coaches convention, Steinbrecher’s role on how the Gatorade shower celebration was born, and about former Long Island Rough Riders forward Mike Masters reminiscing on how he became the first American player to score a goal at Wembley.
FrontRowSoccer.com is competing in the sports feature category against daily and weekly newspapers and websites across the island.
Winners will be announced at the PCLI Media Awards dinner rat the Marriot Melville Long Island on Thursday, June 2.
