St. John’s University women’s head coach Ian Stone Thursday announced the addition of Mia Agresti to his 2022 recruiting class.

Agresti comes to Queens, N.Y. following a high school career at Shore Regional in New Jersey where she played four years on the Blue Devils’ varsity squad. She guided her team to four straight sectional championships from 2018-21. Agresti in her final two years of high school soccer took home back-to-back state titles in 2020 and 2021.

As a senior, Agresti was named an All-New Jersey honoree and one of the top midfielders to watch in the state. She also earned the distinct honor of scoring the girls’ soccer goal of the year. She was named a midfielder to watch as a sophomore as well and during her freshman campaign, Agresti was named the Shore Conference rookie of the year and one to the top-90 freshman players in New Jersey.

No stranger to the national stage, Agresti received an invitation to the U.S. women’s youth national team training camp in 2014.

Agresti comes from a family of collegiate athletes, as her sister Madeline Agresti was a member of the rowing team at Rutgers in 2018-19. Her cousin, Olivia Lucia, has Big East women’s soccer ties as she was a defender at Providence College from 2017-19.
