The National Women’s Soccer League Thursday announced details for the first live NWSL season kickoff show.

Set to begin 30 minutes ahead of the 2022 regular season opener between Angel City FC and the North Carolina Courage on Friday at Banc of California Stadium, the event will air live on CBS Sports Network at 10 p.m. ET.

Hosted by Marisa Pilla alongside former NWSL and U.S. women’s national team midfielder Lori Lindsey, the show will feature coverage of the Pink Carpet VIP entrance as well as interviews with players, team investors and NWSL Commissioner Jessica Berman.

The show also will include a live performance of Angel City’s anthem, “Running with the Angels,” by Grammy Award-winning artist Brittany Howard and Tia P, and the unfurling of the largest TIFO in NWSL history.

Play-by-play announcer Jenn Hildreth and analyst Aly Wagner will also join Marisa and Lori to preview Friday’s match, the regular season and 2022 NWSL Challenge Cup playoffs.

Immediately following the show, Angel City and North Carolina will kick off the league’s 10th anniversary regular season at 10:30 p.m. ET on CBS Sports Network.
