The playoff bracket has been set for the 2022 NWSL Challenge Cup.
Earning the No. 1 seed, OL Reign will face the No. 4 seed Washington Spirit, while the No. 2 seed Kansas City Current will take third-seed North Carolina Courage. Both matches are scheduled for Wednesday, May 4.
Due to venue availability issues, the Reign’s match against the Spirit will be hosted at Segra Field in Leesburg, Va. The match, set for an 8 p.m. ET kickoff, will air live on the CBS Sports Network.
Kansas City and North Carolina kick off at Children’s Mercy Park at 8:30 p.m. ET. The match will be streamed live on Paramount+.
The winner of each semifinal match will advance to the 2022 Challenge Cup final, slated for Saturday, May 7. The final will air live on The CBS Television Network and stream on Paramount+.
All three matches will be streamed internationally on Twitch.
Week 2 regular season games involving teams that advance to the final will be rescheduled to a future date.
