Flower City Union has postponed its April 17 match at AC Syracuse Pulse due to its Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup match next week, the National Independent Soccer Association announced early Tuesday.

The Rochester, N.Y. team will host D.C. United in a third-round game on April 19.

“The spacing of these matches squeezes Flower City’s ability to get the rest needed to avoid injury and be competitive,” a NISA spokesman said. “AC Syracuse graciously agreed to postpone the NISA match to TBD.”
