Sergino Dest is out and George Bello is in.

U.S. men’s national team head coach Gregg Berhalter on Friday added Bello to the training camp roster to prepare for the final three World Cup Qualifying matches. The BioSteel USMNT Training Camp roster will begin reporting to camp in Houston this weekend.

Bello replaced Barcelona defender Dest, who was injured in his club’s 2-1 win against Galatasary on Thursday in the UEFA Europa League. It was believed to have been a hamstring injury.

The 20-year-old defender has played six times for the USMNT, including a start in the 1-0 victory against Mexico in the championship final of the 2021 Concacaf Gold Cup and the 4-1 win away to Honduras in WCQ.

Bello transferred from Atlanta United to Arminia Bielefeld of the German Bundesliga on Jan. 31, making his debut for on Feb. 7 against Borussia Mönchengladbach.

This qualifying cycle wraps up with three games during the March international window as the USA faces regional rival Mexico in Mexico City on March 24 (10 p.m. ET, Univision, TUDN, CBS Sports Network, Paramount+), Panama in Orlando, Fla. on March 27 (7 p.m. ET; FS1, UniMás, TUDN) and Costa Rica in San Jose on March 30 (Paramount+, Universo, Peacock).
