HARRISON, N.J. – NJ/NY Gotham FC and Algorand, a blockchain company, announced a multi-year partnership deal Wednesday.

As part of the deal, Algorand will become the front-of-jersey partner and first “Official Blockchain and NFT Partner” of the National Women’s Soccer League club. Gotham FC and Algorand will unveil blockchain enabled payments and NFT integrations in-stadium and in the community.

Through this partnership, Gotham FC will leverage Algorand’s blockchain technology to elevate the fan experience with a series of in-game NFT giveaways, blockchain scavenger hunts and blockchain enabled purchasing for tickets and merchandise. Gotham FC season ticket members will be rewarded with access to even more exclusive giveaways ranging from rarer NFTs to post-game field access opportunities. All of these experiences will be powered by Algorand’s native digital wallet.
