The Red Bulls acquire $50,000 of conditional General Allocation Money from Houston Dynamo in exchange for Homegrown Territory exclusivity over Xavier Valdez, it was announced Sunday.

New York also will retain a percentage of a future transfer fee outside of MLS.

The Red Bulls, who recorded a 3-1 win at the San Jose Earthquakes in their season opener Saturday night, will travel north to face Toronto FC next Saturday.
