Vincenza (Eva) Fantauzzo, the mother of Rochester Lancers owner SoccerSam Fantauzzo, passed away on Sunday.
She was 83.
Eva’s son Chuck was by her side when she died.
She had lived in Irondequoit, N.Y.
“Family & Friends, thanks for all the beautiful messages. My brother Chuck took care of my mom for years with the daily love from my sister Val,” SoccerSam said on Facebook.
“My aunts, uncles & my cousin Venera are special.. thank you!
“Chuck & Val’s friends have mentioned the amazing Italian meals prepared within minutes for anyone that went to her house. My Eastridge alumni remember some of the greatest High School parties ever in her basement. She had many remedies for those with stomach issues that I never knew about 🙂
“We know she’s in a better place now with my dad and probably cooking for everyone! 🙏❤️”
