HARRISON, N.J. – Red Bulls II added forward Jordan Adebayo-Smith on loan from the Tampa Bay Rowdies through the end of the 2022 USL Championship season, the club announced Monday.

Adebayo-Smith, 21, appeared in 25 matches and made six starts during in 2021 with the Rowdies. He accumulated 683 minutes and scored four goals, tied for fourth on the team.

“We are very excited to add Jordan to our roster for the 2022 season,” Red Bulls Academy director Sean McCafferty said in a statement. “He is a player with exceptional pace and is a threat to any back line with his ability to run in behind and create scoring opportunities for himself and his teammates.”

The 5-11, 170-lb. Adebayo-Smith spent time in England with Football League Two club Lincoln City, and went on loan to Grantham Town, Boston United and Gainsborough Trinity. He then played for Sutton United FC before signing with the Rowdies.
