Former Long Island Lady Riders head coach Emma Hayes is a finalist for The Best FIFA Women’s Coach, it was announced on Thursday.

Hayes, who coaches the Chelsea women’s team, guided the Lady Riders in the W-League from 2001-03. She also was the Iona College women’s head coach from 2003-06.

Thomas Tuchel, who directs Chelsea and U.S. men’s national team midfielder-forward Christian Pulisic, is one of the three finalists The Best FIFA Men’s Coach.
