Add another Rochester Lancers team to the growing list of soccer teams in the Flower City.
The Lancers will compete in the United Premier Soccer League in 2022.
The team, according to the team’s website, will “continue to lay the foundation for our teams of the future with the Rochester Lancers.”
“The UPSL program is designed to give players who age out of youth soccer a chance to continue their soccer career and development. The UPSL team will train along side the NPSL [National Premier Soccer League] team.”
As a member of Lancers UPSL team will give players accesses to team’s facility (Glacier Ridge Sports Park), which includes an indoor and outdoor turf fields, a gym and a training room to work on their craft outside of their team training.
Glacier Ridge Sports Park is located in Spencerport, N.Y.
Tryouts are being held this week.
