RICHMOND, Va. – For the second time this season, Hofstra fifth-year midfielder Lucy Porter was named the Colonial Athletic Association offensive player of the week, it was announced Monday.

Porter was unstoppable in Hofstra’s decisive 6-0 win over the College of Charleston Sunday afternoon, recording three goals and two assists for a season-high eight points. The Senior Day hat-trick was the fourth of her career.

She has six goals and 11 assists this season, ranking second on the team with 23 points. Porter leads the CAA in assists, is fourth in total points and is tied for fifth in total goals. Nationally, she is ninth in assists per game and 11th in assists.

Porter also was named the CAA offensive player of the Week Oct. 11.
