HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. – Despite another outing in which the No. 12 Hofstra University women dominated, the Pride settled for a scoreless draw against the College of William & Mary in a Colonial Athletic Association game at Hofstra Soccer stadium Sunday afternoon.

Hofstra (12-1-1, 8-1-1) finished with a 21-4 advantage in total shots, including a 10-4 edge in shots on goal over the Tribe (3-7-2, 1-2-2). Senior forward Miri Taylor took a team-high five shots, while fifth-year midfielder Lucy Porter followed with four.

Junior goalkeeper Skylar Kuzmich earned her eighth solo shutout of the season and Hofstra’s ninth. Kuzmich made four saves.

In the 82nd minute, Amanda Ebbesson took a pass from Porter the top of the box and slid it right through Tribe keeper Zoe Doughty’s legs to find the back of the net, but an offside call was made, negating Hofstra’s go-ahead tally.

In the final minute of regulation, Kuzmich made a diving save to preserve the score and send the match into extratime.

Hofstra travels to Philadelphia to meet Drexel University Thursday at 5 p.m.
