Don’t expect Christian Pulisic or Gio Reyna to play for their respective club teams in the next week or so.

They will be sidelined due to injuries they suffered during the U.S. men’s national team’s World Cup qualifying matches.

Pulisic will miss three games due to an ankle injury he incurred in the 4-1 win at Honduras Wednesday night.

‘For Christian unfortunately he came yesterday on crutches,” Chelsea FC head coach Thomas Tuchel said. “He has an ankle injury [that will rule him out] for about 10 days.”

He will be a spectator for the Blues’ English Premier League match against Aston Villa Saturday, the team’s UEFA Champions League encounter at home against Zenit St. Petersburg Sept. 14 and the away game at Tottenham Sept. 19.

Reyna returned to Germany after suffering a hamstring injury in the opening scoreless draw at El Salvador Sept. 2, and will not be available “for the next few games,” according to the Borussia Dortmund website.

The 18-year-old midfielder-forward will miss Saturday’s Bundesliga game at Bayer Leverkusen and Wednesday’s Champions League match at Besiktas Wednesday, Sept. 15. Dortmund hosts Union Berlin Sept. 19.

They won’t have much time to recover and find their form, at least for the USMNT. The next slate of World Cup qualifiers in the Concacaf Octagonal begins Oct. 7.
