NYCFC and Chicago Fire FC could not find the net at Soldier Field.

Ditto for the Red Bulls against FC Cincinnati at Red Bull Arena.

The Red Bulls (5-7-4, 19 points( who extended their winless streak to five games while FC Cincy moved to 3-7-6.

“We’re all frustrated,” Red Bulls captain Sean Davis said. “It’s disappointing not to get all three points.

“We need to be more cut throat, more ruthtless in front of the goal.”

City moved to 8-5-3 and Chicago now is 3-9-5.

Goalkeeper Sean Johnson, in his first game back returning from the Concacaf Gold Cup, registered the shutout.
