Scratch defender Reggie Cannon and midfielder Paul Arriola from the U.S. men’s national team’s lineup for Thursday night’s Concacaf Gold Cup match against Martinique in Kansas City, Kansas.
Cannon did not play in the 1-0 win over Haiti Sunday due to a hamstring injury and Arriola was forced out of the match in the 14th minute due to tightness in his right hamstring. Nicholas Gioacchini replaced him.
During his pre-match press conference, USMNT head coach Gregg Berhalter said: “Both have made progress with their injury but are both are out for the game tomorrow.”
