PITTSBURGH, Pa. – In their last game ever, the Rochester Lancers dropped a 3-0 defeat to the Pittsburgh Hotspurs in a National Premier Soccer League match at Founders Field Sunday.

The Lancers (seven points) completed the season with a 2-7-1 mark while Pittsburgh (24) improved to 8-2-0.

Daniel Reid lifted the hosts to a 1-0 lead in the 28th minute. Eleven minutes slaer, Bryan Akongo doubled the advantage to 2-0 and Anthony DiFalco tallied a third goal in the 78th minute.

Last month the Lancers announced that their men’s and Lady Lancers teams would play under the umbrella of the Flower City Union in the National Independent Soccer Association in 2022.
