U.S. women’s national team defender Crystal Dunn has become an ambassador.

The Portland Thorns midfielder and Rockville Centre, N.Y. native has been added as the newest Therabody athlete, it was announced by the company Monday.

According to a press release, Dunn has incorporated products such as Theragun, TheraOne and RecoveryAir into her daily routine “to lessen her recovery time and ultimately help extend her career as long as possible.”

“RecoveryAir is one of her favorite Therabody products because pneumatic compression is incredibly important for a soccer player with the amount of running they do during training and matches,” the press release said.

Therabody’s products are relied on by more than 250 professional sports teams and athletes around the world for training, activation, and recovery protocols to improve overall performance.

A graduate of South Side High School and a former member of the Albertson Soccer Club, Dunn is expected to be named to the USWNT 18-player roster. The roster could be named as early as this week.

Dunn, who turns 29 on July 3, was a key starter at left back for the USWNT’s Women’s World Cup championship side in 2019 and participated in the 2016 Rio Olympics.
