Matt Miazga is out and Walker Zimmerman is in.

The former Red Bulls center back has left U.S. men’s national team training camp to make the final preparations for his marriage next week.

Replacing him is Nashville SC center back Walker Zimmerman, who is flying in Tuesday and will be available to play for the USA in its international friendly against Costa Rica Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET.

“Congratulations to Matt,” USMNT head coach Gregg Berhalter said during a Zoom media call Tuesday. “He wants to finish off wedding preparations. We’re happy to let him do so.”

Goalkeeper Zack Steffen and defender Bryan Reynolds have been ruled out of the match with bruised bones on their knees.

Steffen was forced from the USMNT’s 3-2 victory over Mexico in the Concacaf Nations League midway through the second half with the injury.

“It’s about a 10-day injury,” Berhalter said. “They’re recovering and getting better but won’t be able to play the game.”
