Red Bulls midfielder Cristian Cásseres, Jr. has been named to the Venezuela national team two World Cup qualifiers on June 3 and June 8, the MLS team announced Wednesday.

Venezuela will take on Bolivia Thursday, then host Uruguay June 8.

The 21-year-old has Cásseres appeared four times for Venezuela, making his national team debut Oct. 9, 2020 in a WCQ against Colombia.

Cásseres, Jr. tallied his third goal of the season and his second at Red Bull Arena, scoring off a 20-yard free kick in a 2-1 win over Orlando City SC Saturday.

The Red Bulls return to action, hosting Nashville SC at RBA Friday, June 18.
