MONTCLAIR, N.J. – Red Bulls II continued its horrible start to the USL Championship season, dropping a 1-0 decision to the Tampa Bay Rowdies at MSU Soccer Park Wednesday night.

The hosts dropped to 1-4-2, having accrued five points out of a possible 21 while the Rowdies improved to 5-0-0.

The Rowdies scored the lone goal in the 32nd minute, Jordan Adebayo-Smith was on the receiving of a long pass from Jordan Doherty. Adebayo-Smith moved in and slotted a low shot past goalkeeper A.J. Marcucci before 543 spetactors.

Forward Omar Sowe, a Harrison, N.J. native, made his 25th professional appearance for the club.

Former Red Bulls II players Evan Louro and Jordan Scarlett started for the Rowdies and played a full 90 minutes.
