ALAJUELA, Costa Rica – Exon Perdomo scored four goals to lead El Salvador to a 6-4 win over the United States in the final of the 2021 Concacaf Beach Soccer Championship at the Sports Complex Fedefutbol-Plycem Sunday.

It was El Salvador’s second confederation beach soccer crown after winning its first in 2009.

Elmer Robles, Perdomo and Jason Urbina gave El Salvador an early 3-0 lead.

The U.S. rallied via two goals from Jason Santos and scores from Tomas Canale and Gabriel Silveira, but couldn’t catch the Cuscatlecos.

The USA’s Antonio Chavez was named young player of the tournament.
