CHARLESTON, S.C. – Red Bulls II’s 2-2 draw with the Charleston Battery Sunday was accomplished with a degree difficulty.

The visitors overcame a two-goal, second-half deficit to bring home a point from Patriots Point. NYRBII moved to 1-2-2 and five points.

Roald Mitchell’s first goal of his USL Championship career equalized the match in the 66th minute, four minutes after Mandel Egbo’s penalty kick, his third of the season, cut the lead in half.

Mitchell, playing in his first professional game,, recieved a pass from Juan Castillo and curled the ball past goalkeeper Joe Kuzminsky. It was Castillo’s first pro assist.

Red Bulls midfielder Dru Yearwood made his first USL Championship appearance and start.
