The State Cup semifinals of the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association will be played this Saturday.

Last year’s State Cup was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The semifinal winners will play their championship game at a neutral site, Stringham Park in LaGrange, N.Y. June 5-6.

“The LaGrange Soccer Club is excited to be hosting the State Cup finals in 2021. We’ve had the privilege of hosting the finals before and consider it an honor that Eastern New York has chosen Stringham Park as the location for their event,” LaGrange Soccer Club president Kara Gadonniex said. “Our fields are centrally located within the state association and allows it to host the entire event in one location in the beautiful Hudson Valley. We are looking forward to a great weekend of competitive soccer.”

State Open Cup champions crowned that weekend qualify for the East Regionals from June 25 to July 1 at Hammonton, N.J. as part of the National Championship Series.
